New services extend Leaf Line to meet rising demand for higher capacity and sovereign ground infrastructure
Milan, Italy – Leaf Space announced two ground segment services, Leaf Key and Leaf Hosting, built as a natural evolution of its Leaf Line multi-mission network in 2025 and designed for missions that need more capacity, more control, or both.
Global satellite operators, national space agencies, and the defense industry are moving to higher throughput constellations, tighter latency targets, and more demanding security requirements. That shift is driving a clear trend toward higher capacity ground architectures and dedicated infrastructure. Leaf Key and Leaf Hosting are Leaf Space’s answer to that demand, while keeping the same simple integration model customers know from Leaf Line.
Leaf Key provides dedicated ground stations on the Leaf Space site or customer location, tailored to a specific mission profile, operated by Leaf Space or by the customer, and integrated through the Leaf Space API. It is ideal for high-duty-cycle payloads, sensitive missions, and programs that require dedicated resources within a trusted operational environment.*
Leaf Hosting enables customers to deploy and operate their own RF or optical ground stations on Leaf Space sites worldwide, leveraging existing power, connectivity, civil works and first level maintenance, while retaining full control of their assets.
With Leaf Line, Leaf Key and Leaf Hosting, Leaf Space now offers a full spectrum of ground segment options through one unified interface.
