Leaf Space is very happy to announce the latest addition to its state-of-art communication network: the second 3.7m S-X band tracking antenna recently deployed and commissioned in Nangetty in collaboration with Capricorn Space, a robust partner site in West Australia which has a long association with the space industry sector. The new satellite ground station is now operational and marks an important milestone in Leaf Space’s commitment to deliver more capacity from the southern hemisphere to address increasing clients demand over that area. The ground station is tailored to offer additional capacity to a specific customer with individual needs and is designed to cope with customized latency and data-transfer requirements. This is the third operational station in Australia and besides representing an important step in the network capacity increase, is also expected to bolster and confirm Leaf Space’s knowledge of the overall Australian regulatory framework. With the addition of two new systems to its global network in the last month, Leaf Space continues to successfully pursue its core mission: connecting humanity to space through solutions that are ever more reliable, flexible and cost efficient.Leaf Space proprietary GS network currently consists of 17 active antennas distributed around the world in 12 different countries over 4 Continents.
